NIANTIC LODGE CONDUCTS FUND DRIVE FOR TROOPS

The Niantic Lodge I.O.O.F. #17 in conjunction with the Fairview Residents’ Council sponsored a drive to collect supplies for our troops in Iraq.  This was a community service project for the lodge.  A special raffle was held as a fundraiser to pay for the items.  Over $200.00 was raised through the generosity of Fairview staff, residents, and their families.  Pictured is Fairview resident council member Rowena Dimartino (second from left, front row) along with other lodge members at the June lodge meeting where the items for the troops were presented.

NIANTIC LODGE'S OWN TERRY MITCHELL WINS FAIRVIEW'S CAR RAFFLE

Fairview held its third annual car raffle on Saturday, July 12 in conjunction with the Odd Fellows of Connecticut Grand Officer’s Day.  This was the most successful raffle to date with 514 tickets sold for a net profit of $18,612.83.  All proceeds will be used to help pay for ongoing upgrades to Fairview’s information technology system.  Congratulations Terry!!

NIANTIC LODGE #17 PARTICIPATES IN GROTON'S FOURTH OF JULY PARADE

The Niantic Lodge participated this year in the Fourth of July Parade in Groton, CT.  Niantic Lodge members who were in the parade are: Tim, Sarah and Tiffiny Stanley; Matt, Tomi and Sterling Gillette; Leslie Bartlett and Mary Sepowitz.
